On July 11, Xie Suyuan, an academician of the CAS Member and director of the State Key Laboratory of Solid Surface Physical Chemistry, Lin Qingyu, deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Solid Surface Physical Chemistry, Zhu Hongping, Deng Shunliu, Zheng Jianwei, professors of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xiamen University, and other Xiamen University delegations visited CNGR The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on cooperation in cutting-edge industrial projects such as rare and precious metal catalysts, and worked together to create a new chapter of cooperation and jointly promote high-quality industrial development. Zhu Jiangang, Vice President of CNGR Group, Vice President of CNGR Jinneng and Executive Director of CNGR New Platinum, and Li Jinsong, Assistant to the President of CNGR Jinneng, received the delegation.

At the CNGR Science and Technology Museum, Academician Xie Suyuan and his delegation listened carefully to the introduction of CNGR development history, scientific and technological research and development system, global industrial layout, etc. Since the establishment of the first member company in 1992, after more than 30 years of development, CNGR Group has become an international new materials science company. The company focuses on the new functional materials industry, serving application fields such as energy storage, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, semiconductors, electronic information, and life sciences. It is committed to the synergy of upstream and downstream resource development, product research and development and manufacturing, recycling, and other industries, facing global development, integrating global resources, and serving global customers.

During the visit, the staff explained in detail to Academician Xie Suyuan and his delegation the development plan and industrial layout of CNGR in the rare and precious metal functional materials industry. Among them, CNGR New Platinum, a subsidiary of CNGRJinneng, focuses on the deep development and application of platinum group metals, especially in the research and production of key areas such as catalysts, carrier catalysts, and additives, contributing CNGR strength to global industries such as new energy, petrochemicals, biomedicine, and environmental protection. During the communication process, both parties agreed that there are extensive opportunities for cooperation between Xiamen University and CNGR in the sub fields of compound precursors, industrial catalysts, and hydrogen energy catalysts, and they can jointly explore new paths for deep integration of industry, academia, and research.

Moving to CNGR Global R&D Center, Academician Xie Suyuan and his delegation inspected CNGR R&D project implementation capabilities in technology innovation and production automation. The highly automated production line, production quality management system, and innovative corporate culture of CNGR have left a deep impression on Academician Xie Suyuan and his delegation.

At the school enterprise cooperation and exchange meeting between Xiamen University and CNGR held the next day, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the research and development, pilot testing, and industrialization cooperation of Fuller Rare Materials series catalysts. They look forward to working together through closer school enterprise cooperation to overcome industry challenges, accelerate the upgrading pace of rare and precious metal catalyst related industries, and inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of the industry.
